Sydney Child and Family Practice is a clinical psychology practice supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families across Greater Sydney. We provide therapy, autism and ADHD assessments, and parent consultations — with a focus on helping you understand what's happening, why it's happening, and what to do next.

Therapy — for children, teenagers, adults, and whole families navigating anxiety, low mood, behavioural concerns, family stress, school challenges, or adjustment to a recent diagnosis. We offer in-person sessions at our Brookvale rooms or Telehealth Australia-wide.

Mobile autism assessments across Greater Sydney — we bring the assessment to your family. ADOS-2 and ADI-R conducted in your home, your child's daycare, or their school. The same gold-standard tools as a clinic-based assessment, in the environment where your child is most themselves. No travel across Sydney, no unfamiliar clinic, no pressure on your child to perform on the day. As a newly established practice, we currently have no waitlist, with initial appointments available within 1–2 weeks.

ADHD assessments — comprehensive structured assessment for children, adolescents, and adults, conducted in our Brookvale rooms, at a partner clinic, or on-site at school or home if appropriate.

Parent consultations — short-term psychological support for parents navigating a diagnosis, advocating for school modifications, or thinking through complex parenting decisions.

Halaina Winter, Clinical Psychologist (AHPRA-registered), personally conducts every assessment from initial appointment to feedback session. We work alongside paediatricians, GPs, speech pathologists, and occupational therapists to make sure your family's care is properly coordinated.
